"Somewhere in My Homeland"

Somewhere in my homeland,
the villagers gather wrinkles in the fields
and their skin is like burnt brown sugar,
water leaks from their broken brothel,
and only the noonday dream for them is like baklava,
somewhere in my land,
the hardworking hands of the locals,
crush the bones of summer.
