This is a brief review of some of what is in the book, the full version can be downloaded from the official website or bookstore.

1. Loves or Affection from others

love, care or affection that other people give can make us happy. Burnett highlights when we feel loved, the brain releases various neurochemicals such as dopamine, oxytocin and serotonin to produce happiness. To feel happy, we need other people. For example, when we have good social interactions and are loved, we feel happy. Another example, when you want validation, you definitely need other people. other people play an important role in our happiness, even though we cannot control how they treat us.

2. You Need to Laugh

Comedy or jokes are needed. Something funny can be displayed in visual or words forms. Burnett explains that laughter has a direct effect on the brain, triggering the release of neurochemicals like dopamine and endorphins, which are associated with pleasure and happiness. He also notes that laughter serves a social function, helping to bond people together and strengthen relationships,to reduce pain perception. In sum, laughter is tool for maintaining a happy brain,  social interactions an mental health.

3. Go to Place That Makes You Happy

the value of visiting locations you enjoy in order to feel happy. According to him, the brain is extremely sensitive to surroundings, and being in a setting that makes you feel at ease, content, or joyous can cause happy feelings and activate the reward systems in the brain.The brain could relaxed by being in a place you appreciate, whether it’s your favorite café, a natural setting, or any other area that makes you feel calm. Homes have an impact on our sense of happiness. Spacious homes tend to bring happiness because of the privacy and make us less threatened and like the house  that presence of a green yard.

4. Do Exercise

This discusses on significant impact of exercise. He explains that physical activity is one of the most effective ways to boost mood and improve overall brain health. Exercise could activates the brain’s reward systems, leading to the release of neurochemicals like dopamine and endorphins, which are linked to happiness. It can also improve sleep quality to help focus. The study was conducted on children who did and didn’t exercise, the results showed that children who did exercise did slightly better on exams.

People who are stressed tend to have more difficulty finding a way out than people who are happy. He also give an example that you want to do something to make u happy, let say  do ur hobby, but it takes more time and money, it can make new problem and stressed to you too. So happiness is something complex. In the end of book, the author states that happiness can be obtained in various ways, one’s happiness is different to the other.

Conclusion

in conclusion, If you are interested in the function of nerves, hormones, and psychology, you are recommended to read this book. In addition to increasing your knowledge, you are given an understanding of things related to the human brain.
